Quick oil change for my Land Cruiser – any local place you trust?

I know this sounds like a basic thing that any garage should be able to handle, but I've had such mixed experiences with oil changes over the years that I've become genuinely picky about where I take my car for even the simplest maintenance. My Land Cruiser is due for its regular service and I could technically take it to the dealer, but honestly their prices have gotten ridiculous and they always try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I don't really need, plus I have to book weeks in advance which is a pain. I'd rather find a decent independent shop nearby that I can just drop in to without all the hassle and get the job done properly with the right oil grade and a quality filter, because I've seen way too many stories of places using cheap oil or not tightening the drain plug properly and causing issues down the line. I live in the Khalifa City area so ideally I'd like somewhere close to home, maybe something in the Al Raha or the ICAD area, rather than driving all the way into the city center. A neighbor mentioned there's a reliable car oil change service in Khalifa City that he's been using for years and swears by, but he couldn't remember the name when I asked him specifically. Has anyone here got a go-to spot locally that they trust for oil changes? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just someone who uses good quality oil, doesn't overcharge, and actually does the job without any drama.

For a Land Cruiser, I’d prioritize a workshop that follows the manufacturer’s recommended oil specification rather than simply choosing the cheapest oil-change package. It’s also worth asking them to show you the oil container and filter before installation, and confirming that the drain plug and filter are properly tightened. A quick inspection for leaks after the service is a good habit too.

Since you’re in Khalifa City, choosing a nearby independent garage with consistently good local reviews could save you both time and dealer costs. I’d compare a couple of shops and ask for the complete price upfront so there are no surprise add-ons.
